Lorde and Addison Rae were announced as special guest performers during Charli XCX and Troye Sivan’s joint ‘Sweat’ concert in New York last night —check out fan-shot footage of the performances below.
Charli and Troye brought their co-headlining ‘Sweat’ tour to Madison Square Garden, where they have a history of inviting special guest performers to join them onstage for several songs. For this show, Addison Rae and Lorde made surprise appearances alongside Charli and Troye.
Addison Rae was the first to take the stage, performing the remix of ‘Von Dutch’ with Charli XCX before showcasing her own song, ‘Diet Pepsi,’ with Charli and Troye by her side. Later in the evening, Lorde delighted fans by joining the stage, dressed similarly to Charli XCX, and together they performed their remix of ‘Girl, so confusing.’

Earlier this year, fans got a glimpse of the tour when Charli joined Troye on stage during his Wembley Stadium gig in June to perform their collaboration ‘1999.’ Additionally, last week they released a collaborative remix of ‘Talk Talk,’ featuring vocals from Sivan and contributions from Dua Lipa, who sings in Spanish and French.
The ‘Sweat’ tour will continue for another month, making stops in Toronto, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and more, before concluding in Seattle on 23rd October.
