Lorde Responds To a Viral Video Of Her Shushing People At Concerts
Lorde is currently in the midst of her North American ‘Solar Power’ tour
Lorde has responded to a viral video of her shushing fans during her ‘Melodrama’ tour performance of ‘Writer in The Dark.’
Despite the fact that the tour took place in 2017 and 2018, videos of the singer begging fans to stay quiet while she played the song have only lately resurfaced on the internet.
Lorde addressed the viral clips based on a video clip posted on her Instagram fan account @lordecontent. She responded saying that she just woke up and wanted to talk about the shushing thing she’s been doing during her gigs.

Lorde is presently in the middle of her North American ‘Solar Power’ tour where she’s been covering Rosalía’s ‘Hentai’ and The Strokes’ ‘The End Has No End’ in between fan favorites like ‘Mood Ring,’ ‘Stoned at the Nail Salon,’ and ‘Leader of a New Regime’ .At last night’s Chicago stop, she performed ‘Writer In The Dark’ for the first time since 2018.
Lorde went on to remark that having people who understood her at her gigs was enough for her, and she encouraged the audience to sing along loudly as she played the song.
Lorde is performing numerous songs from her upcoming album ‘Solar Power’ for the first time in front of a live audience on this tour. She had planned to start the tour in her home country of New Zealand and Australia, but had to postpone those dates until 2023 owing to scheduling conflicts. She’s also performed covers of Rosalía and The Strokes on these evenings.
After her North American tour, the pop sensation will travel to the United Kingdom, Europe and beyond. She will be peforming at Primavera Sound LA, Glastonbury, Life is Beautiful, and All Things Go 2022.
