Machine Gun Kelly’s BBMAs 2022 Set Honours Megan Fox And Their Unborn Kid

Machine Gun Kelly dedicated his performance at the Billboard Music Awards 2022 to Megan Fox, his ‘wife’ and their unborn child. After more than a year together, the pop-punk artist and the actor confirmed their engagement in January 2022.

MGK performed ‘Twin Flame’ on a stage covered with leaves and flowers during the awards event on 15th May. Halfway through the song, he rose up, grabbed his guitar and carried the track into more challenging territory. Before doing so, he said that this is for their unborn child.

The majority of the Billboard Music Awards 2022 awards were given out during a TikTok pre-show livestream. Olivia Rodrigo and Kanye West lead the winners with six trophies each.

Before Silk Sonic brought a cover of Con Funk Shun’s ‘Love’s Train’ to Vegas, Diddy began the awards presentation with the support of Bryson Tiller, Jack Harlow, and Teyana Taylor. With a performance of ‘Big Energy,’ Latto made her first appearance at the awards show. Other artists performing tonight include Burna Boy, Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran, and others.

Morgan Wallen’s performance was dubbed ‘tone deaf’ by spectators after he took the stage shortly after messages promoting social justice and anti-racism. Travis Scott made his first significant public appearance since last year’s Astroworld disaster. This year’s Icon Award was presented to Mary J. Blige by Janet Jackson, last year’s recipient. “Right now, I’m in a dream,” Blige added before reminiscing on her career.
