Madison Beer Does a Live at Home Concert

Madison Beer raised money for Direct Relief efforts by hosting a Billboard Live At home Concert on March 23rd. The artist has been actively sensitizing the public about the gravity of the current situation and using music to bring people together.

The funds going toward direct Relief will help equip doctors and nurses with adequate medical resources that are currently at a shortage worldwide. Rihanna also directed funds from her foundation toward the cause recently.

Beer opened up to her fans about the isolation and anxiety that comes with quarantine. She resonated their fears of being stagnated like this for a while , she that it was close to home as she had been waiting to release her latest single “Stained Glass” this week.

The track “Stained Glass” , set to drop this week, debuted on her Live streaming concert. She sang the entire song before signing off , giving fans something to look forward to. The mesmerising chorus was lauded for being so vulnerable; “My skin is made of glass/ But apparently it’s stained/ ‘Cause you notice all the cracks/ But can’t look inside my pain/ And if you throw another stone, man/ I’d stay far away, far away/ I just might break.”

Madison also showcases her vulnerability with her fans on social media as she constantly reaches out to them with heartfelt tweets like these “ with a global pandemic at hand, this can be a very scary, lonely, triggering, and difficult time for many. make sure to care for your mental health in this scary period as much as you’re caring for your physical. ? sending love across the world in every form.”

In her Live stream she performed a rendition of her previously released track “Selfish” after which she debuted “Stained Glass”. She said that song writing has been therapeutic for her , post break up “I’m still a human being who’s sad and goes through things,” Beer said.
