Madonna Snuggles With Boyfriend Akeem Morris at London Soccer Game

Madonna and her boyfriend, Akeem Morris, are enjoying a romantic getaway in London! 

The 66-year-old pop icon shared a collection of photos on Instagram featuring herself and the 28-year-old Morris snuggling at a soccer game during their trip. While in London, Madonna also spent time in the studio with ‘Hung Up’ producer Stuart Price, working on new music. 

“London Calling……………Back in the Stu with Stuart Price. Go Chelsea!” she captioned the post. Along with photos of her working with Price, 47, she included various snapshots of her and Morris exploring the Chelsea Football Club and sitting together during the game. One particular image shows Madonna affectionately cuddling up to a smiling Morris.

The couple has been romantically linked since July 2024, when Madonna posted pictures of them holding hands and getting cosy during Independence Day celebrations in New York City. They first made a public appearance together on the cover of Paper magazine in August 2022.

Morris has also joined Madonna for special family events, including the 12th birthday party of her twin daughters, Estere and Stella. Earlier in the same month, the couple celebrated Madonna’s 66th birthday in Italy.

Before dating Morris, Madonna was in a relationship with boxing coach Josh Popper, which lasted from early 2023 until earlier this year.

Stuart Price’s collaboration with Madonna comes after he served as the musical director for her ‘Celebration Tour’, which concluded in May. They previously worked together on Madonna’s 2005 album, ‘Confessions on the Dance Floor’.

This week has been difficult for Madonna, as she experienced a family loss with the passing of her stepmother, Joan Clare Ciccone, on 24th September, at the age of 81, after a brief battle with aggressive cancer. Joan was married to Madonna’s father, Silvio, for 58 years. 

An obituary noted, “She will be terribly missed by her family and friends whose lives she enriched with her enthusiasm, joy, and love.” Joan’s death follows the passing of Madonna’s brother Anthony, who died at age 66 in 2023.
