Måneskin Teases a New YouTube Series Called ‘On The Road’

Fans will be able to get a peek into behind-the-scenes footage and backstage activity from Måneskin’s tour performances and festival appearances thanks to a new YouTube series called ‘On The Road’, which has been previewed by the band.

The Italian rockers posted a brief teaser along with their announcement on 8th August, that the first episode of their new series will air on 10th August.

“You wanted some behind the scenes? A little backstage? A tiny sneak peek? Now you get a full series ❤️ First episode of Måneskin On the Road, which follows our summer festivals touring, will be out on Aug 10th on YouTube,” they wrote on Twitter. “(Don’t sleep on this ‘cause you will laugh. A lot lot.),” they added.

The band still has a few festivals left, such as Brazil’s Rock In Rio and Japan’s Summer Sonic. Due to scheduling issues, they have officially withdrawn from the Reading & Leeds Festival.

The band talked to NME backstage at Lollapalooza 2022 earlier this month about how it feels to top alternative charts, their favourite American show and how honoured they are to be recognised there.

Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio told NME that reaching the top of the US charts has been ‘super cool’ just before gracing the Lollapalooza main stage and performing before an audience of over 65,000 fans on 31st July.

The single ‘Supermodel’ by the Italian glam rocker has been at the top of the alternative radio charts in the US for weeks.

“‘Supermodel’ has been our first global release,” frontman added. “To see such great feedback for our first release makes us really confident for the future. Of course, we didn’t expect that so we’re truly happy and we can’t wait to come out with other music.”

Måneskin has continued to gain attention in the US and was most recently nominated for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards’ ‘Best New Artist’ and ‘Best Alternative Video’ categories.

“It’s amazing,” bassist De Angelis told NME when asked about receiving the nominations. “I think it’s the first time an Italian artist gets this type of recognition in the states. We’re very proud and we’re going to work even harder.”
