Måneskin's New Track ‘Supermodel’ Has a Chaotic Visual

Måneskin has shared a new video for their newest track,
"Supermodel," which you can watch below.

The Italian band's first new song in 2022, produced by Max
Martin, is loosely inspired by characters they met during their time in Los
Angeles.

Måneskin revealed that they wrote ‘Supermodel’ after spending the best few months in LA. At times, they were astonished yet amused to discover how obsessed people were with the concept of 'fame' and status, stressing over their appearance and connections.

They added that everyone was a fashion icon at parties but how
do they feel when they return home? Are they truly content? Are they having fun
with what they're doing?' You'd like to hang out with this supermodel, but
you're worried about getting in trouble. It's like cigarettes: you want to
smoke them, but you know they'll kill you.  You would justify it saying that you’ve got to
die one day anyway.

Bedroom projects (The 1975) and Ben Chappell (Arctic
Monkeys, Nine Inch Nails) directed the video for 'Supermodel,' which was shot
in London. It's one part Tarantino and one part Hitchcock in terms of cinematic
visuals. As a succession of disastrous events happen, it captures the song's
furious attitude and amusing lyrics. You can see it in the video above.

'Supermodel' made its live debut earlier this month at Eurovision 2022.

The band then performed a preview of their song of Elvis
Presley's 'If I Can Dream,' announcing that it was composed in collaboration
with Baz Luhrmann and will be featured on the soundtrack to his upcoming Elvis
biopic.

When it came to collaborating with Luhrmann, frontman
Damiano David commented that they felt a big connection and decided to jump on
it. They're quite proud of what they've accomplished, and they can't wait for
you to see it.

Meanwhile, Måneskin will embark on a European tour in 2023,
which will include a stop in London.
