“Map of the Soul: 7” By BTS Becomes Fans’ No. 1

The Korean boyband BTS is back! The boys are unstoppable and they are ending the year in style for sure! The troupe have won music lovers’ hearts across the globe this year as Map of the Soul: 7 was chosen as the No. 1 pick in the favourite albums of the 2020 poll.

In a Billboard poll published this month, fans voted the K-pop boy band’s album to the top with 30.66% of total votes. “Map of the Soul: 7” is the band’s fourth Korean language album, platinum-certified and seventh album in total clearly also their fans’ favourite project released this year.

The release of this album also boasted the band’s highest-charting solo Billboard Hot 100 top 10 when it released. with ‘ON’ accompanying at No.4 in the all-genre track=list earlier this year.


Taylor Swift’s album “Folklore” closed in at No.2 after BTS, clearly a much-loved and pleasant surprise for her fans earlier this year. The album amassed a total of 29.28% of votes. Taylor’s eighth studio album and Billboard chart-topper eventually became the first album to sell a million copies this year in the U.S.

Pop sensation Dua Lipa‘s “Future Nostalgia” comes in third with 6.49% of votes encapsulating fans’ top 3 favourites. Lipa’s second album is all set to receive approval for the prestigious Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at the  2021 Grammys as well.

Phew! That is one long list of achievements and the stars aren’t stopping anytime soon. Well, we are only as happy as the musicians are to serve us with more melodies coming up 2021 from BTS!
