Mariah Carey has announced the addition of a new vocal class to the renowned MasterClass series. Taking to Instagram, Carey wrote: “I’m super excited to share what I’ve been working on: my first-ever class on the voice as an instrument.”
She added: “You’re up next, and you’re going to rock this!”
The class will be held via MasterClass on 14th April. St Vincent, Tom Morello, and Nas are among others who have participated in the series.

Carey revealed in January that her debut children’s book, ‘The Christmas Princess’, would be released later this year. She described the new book as “a fairytale for holiday lovers of all ages” when she announced it on Instagram.
She continued: “Little Mariah represents my inner child believing in her own vision, she represents all children, especially those who feel like outsiders or ‘others’, striving to believe in themselves,” she wrote.
“It was empowering to transform my childhood turmoil into a modern classic fairytale full of wonder and boundless hope.”
Michaela Angela Davis, who previously worked with Mariah Carey on her memoir ‘The Meaning Of Mariah Carey’, co-wrote ‘The Christmas Princess’ with her. It will be published by Henry Holt Books for Young Readers in autumn, with illustrations by Fuuji Takashi. A precise date has yet to be determined. For the third year in a row, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ topped the US charts in December. The legendary song first debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019, before returning to Number One in the run-up to Christmas in 2020.
