Mariah Dedicates Hero For The Real Heroes

What’s better than starting your Easter weekend with a stunning performance from Mariah Carey! She performed specially for those at the front lines during this corona virus pandemic. The singer sang ‘Hero’ in her makeshift house studio, leaving the world in awe. She started off by saying that she was doing her best to stay cheerful and festive during this holy week even though we’re all going through difficult times.

‘Hero’, the song is from ‘Music Box’ released in 1993 and has become an inspirational and signature song over the years, she performed this on multiple occasions, including a concert right after the 9/11 attacks and during the inaugural ball for ex-president, Barack Obama.

“I’m just doing my best to try and celebrate with you this Easter, this Holy Week, quite the unique time in history, a time that doesn’t allow us to be together in person and be festive and worship with one another. But I’m grateful that so many of us are staying home, staying safe and in doing so, keeping each other safe. I want to take time to acknowledge and honor the sacrifices of those who work every day, taking care of their communities in this time of need and uncertainty, before shouting out first respondents, doctors, nurses, midwives, store clerks, janitors, postal workers, pharmacists, delivery workers and more, the heroes making our daily lives possible.” she explains in the clip.

Carey was joined by her long time musical director Daniel Moore on piano via a video call and they put up an amazing performance! Well, little moments like this is what keeps us moving forward, right?.
