Mark Ruffalo Reveals ’13 Going on 30′ is a Fan Favourite: ‘I Love That Movie’
Throughout his lengthy cinematic career, Mark Ruffalo has disclosed that one film continually emerges as a popular favorite: ’13 Going on 30′. The 56-year-old actor revealed that when fans approach him, they usually bring up the romantic comedy during his virtual appearance at Center at West Park’s Fall Benefit event in November recently, where he is a member of the host committee.
Ruffalo admitted that, in spite of his many roles, ’13 Going on 30′ is the one that people connect with the most. Even twenty years after its premiere, the movie’s timeless appeal stems from its universal themes of love and family—values that Ruffalo finds particularly meaningful. Additionally, he pointed out that this feeling of community is in line with the goals of the Center at West Park, a nonprofit that supports Manhattan’s diverse cultural community.

Even though his iconic Hulk quip from ‘The Avengers’ is frequently brought up by fans, ’13 Going on 30′ continues to be incredibly popular. Casey Affleck, Jamie Hector, Aubrey Plaza, and Josh Radnor read Kenneth Lonergan’s ‘Lobby Hero’ as part of the benefit program.
Recent works by Ruffalo include ‘Poor Things’ and ‘All the Light We Cannot See’. Later in 2025, Bong Joon Ho’s ‘Mickey 17’ and ‘Now You See Me 3’ will be released.
