Mark Wahlberg Looks Unrecognisable with Fake Nose in On-Set Photos from ‘By Any Means’

Mark Wahlberg has adopted a startling new look for his most recent cinematic effort.  The 53-year-old businessman and actor was spotted filming scenes for the upcoming murder thriller ‘By Any Means’ in Atlanta.  Wahlberg looked nearly entirely changed with the artificial nose and vintage 1960s attire, even waving to cameras in between shots.

‘By Any Means’, which was directed by Elegance Bratton, the director of ‘The Inspection’, is about a young Black FBI agent and a reputed mafia hitman who collaborate to solve the 1966 murders of civil rights leaders in Mississippi.

Wahlberg had a very retro appearance thanks to his wardrobe, which consisted of a grey suit layered over a vivid red collared shirt with large lapels.  The prosthetic nose, long hair, and amber-tinted aviator sunglasses completed his look and added to the period realism.

Wahlberg’s co-star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II was also pictured on the set.  ‘The Watchmen’ Emmy winner was seen talking on a corded phone while sporting a blue-grey suit and tie during filming.

Other well-known actors, including Ethan Embry, Giancarlo Esposito, Josh Lucas, Lisa Gay Hamilton, David Strathairn, LaChanze, and Nicole Beharie, are also in the cast.  Sterling K. Brown, who was initially involved in the production, is no longer in the cast.

The film is based on actual events involving the covert employment of a hitman named Scarpa by J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI.

In addition to this project, Wahlberg is starring in a number of other future movies, such as Shane Black’s ‘Play Dirty’, ‘Balls Up’, and ‘The Family Plan 2’, which is a follow-up to the action-comedy he costarred in with Michelle Monaghan in 2023.
