Martha Stewart Shares Grandkids’ Reactions to Watching Her Documentary ‘Martha’

Recently, Martha Stewart’s documentary Martha elicited touching responses from her grandkids. Stewart revealed on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ that her 13-year-old Jude and 12-year-old Truman had previously seen the movie. Drew Barrymore questioned them about their opinions, and Stewart said that Jude was very excited, stating that she loved it so much that she would watch it again.

Stewart also discussed her personal impressions of the documentary, calling it a representation of a powerful, empowering woman in contemporary America. Stewart has a strong relationship with her grandchildren outside of the documentary.

She shared pictures on Instagram in October of Jude’s friends’ thank-you notes during a fun-filled weekend at her farm that included baking, horseback riding, and excursions to pumpkin patches. Her home-cooked meals, the time she spent with them rather than having time for herself, and her hospitality were all appreciated by her friends.

Additionally, Stewart likes to share cultural experiences with her grandchildren. She told PEOPLE that they frequently go to concerts together and eat at fancy restaurants. Stewart emphasized that because of their mother’s love of cooking, her grandchildren are becoming foodies and have a particular fondness for Japanese and other ethnic cuisines.
