Megan Thee Stallion is dispelling the rumours. Contrary to speculation suggesting she was prohibited from attending the 2025 Met Gala for using her phone, the rapper insists that this is simply not true.

‘The Houston’ star shared a sneak peek behind the scenes of the Gala, despite the event having a very strict protocol of no use.

Videos on Instagram displayed Megan Thee Stallion enjoying moments with Doechii and WNBA athlete Angel Reese while tasting the event's food options. However, that doesn't imply she violated any rules that would lead to a ban.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE, Megan Thee Stallion clarified: the rumours are simply false. She wasn't banned from the event. She stated that fans and the media exaggerated a fabricated tale. As for Anna Wintour? Megan Thee Stallion mentions that the Vogue editor is actually a supporter.
