The 'Hot Girls' are going to have to hold out a while for the next Megan Thee Stallion anthem. The rapper said that she is taking a much-needed hiatus from music to concentrate on her health. “Fans can expect new music when I’m in a better place,” she stated. “Right now, I’m focused on healing.”
She included that “the music and entertainment industry can be a grind, so it’s important to take time off and avoid burning out. Life is all about balance.”

'Traumazine', Meg's sophomore album from 2022, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and featured the hit songs 'Sweetest Pie' with Dua Lipa, 'Plan B,' 'Pressurelicious' with Future, 'Her,' and the Key Glock-assisted 'Ungrateful.' 'Traumazine' was Meg's last studio album.
Since then, Tory Lanez, a fellow rapper who shot her in the leg in 2020, has been found guilty in December.

Megan testified at the trial in an emotional manner, sobbing as she described the trauma and claimed that the public had reacted violently to the sh--ting. At one point, Megan remarked, "I wish he had just sh-t and k-led me if I would have known I was going to go through this torture."
