Megan Thee Stallion Uncertain About Reconciling With Nicki Minaj

Megan Thee Stallion has admitted she's still uncertain about the origins of her feud with fellow rapper Nicki Minaj. In an interview with Billboard, the hip-hop star discussed her strained relationship with Minaj, which began earlier in the year.

While speaking about her support for Kamala Harris during her presidential campaign, Megan was asked about the possibility of reconciling with Minaj after taking jabs at her on the track ‘Hiss’.

Megan responded, “I still don’t know what the problem is. I don’t even know what could be reconciled because I don’t know what the issue is.”

The release of ‘Hiss’ marked a turning point in Megan’s relationship with Minaj. Many interpreted the song as a swipe at Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, with Megan rapping, “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.”

The reference to Megan's Law, a statute providing public access to information on registered sex offenders, was seen as a subtle dig at Petty, a registered offender. When asked if the track triggered the feud, Megan commented, “I would like to think I started things. I knew what needed to be said. 

I don’t know.” Following Hiss, Minaj retaliated with her diss track ‘Big Foot’, which featured lines aimed directly at Megan, such as, “Bad b*** she like six foot, I nickname her, Big Foot.” Their friendship had already started to fade after Minaj collaborated with Cardi B on the hit song ‘WAP’ in 2020. Before the fallout, Megan and Minaj had worked together on ‘Hot Girl Summer’ in 2019.
