Meghan Thee Stallion Drops A Pokémon Inspired Tune

Meghan Thee Stallion is on a freestyle roll !

The ‘Thot Shit‘ rapper dropped the video for “Tuned in Freestyle” on Sunday (22nd August) and anime fans are going wild with the Pokémon inspiration that the artist has drawn in for her latest project.

In the video for “Tuned In Freestyle”, we catch Meghan dressed in a spunky green outfit inside a studio as she does what she’s unbeatable at, rap. This track is a follow-up to her previous freestyle tune,  “Outta Town Freestyle,” which dropped earlier this month(August) and has a similar in-studio visual for its music video.

We find the artist throwing shade at her haters in her latest release in several of the lines. “Talk about something y’all like, stop talking ‘bout me,” she raps. “Since y’all hate a b***h so much/ The way broke b*****s coming for me know it gotta be free.”

Perhaps, what we loved best was the shoutout that she gave to the world of anime when she rapped “…blushing looking like a Pikachu, I’m the hot girl feeling like Charizard.” Check out the video below!
