Michael B. Jordan And Ryan Coogler Reunite For ‘Sinners’

Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Ryan Coogler’s highly anticipated new film, ‘Sinners’. The thriller stars Michael B. Jordan in a dual role, playing twin brothers who encounter a sinister presence in their hometown.

Joining Jordan in the cast is Hailee Steinfeld. The official synopsis for ‘Sinners’ describes the film as “a new vision of fear,” with a chilling quote from a character in the trailer: “You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.”

The twins, played by Jordan, return to their troubled hometown in an attempt to start anew, only to find themselves confronted by an even greater evil.

‘Sinners ‘first gained media attention in January 2024 when The Hollywood Reporter revealed that 

Coogler had written the then-untitled project. This marked his first wholly original film since 2013’s ‘Fruitvale Station’, which also starred Jordan.

Warner Bros. Pictures officially announced the film’s title on September 23, 2024, sharing a brief teaser on social media. 

‘Sinners’ marks director Coogler’s first film since 2022’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. It also reunites Coogler and Jordan, who previously collaborated on ‘Creed’ and ‘Black Panther’.
