Miley Cyrus Announces New Song ‘Flowers’

Miley announced her new single ‘Flowers’ during ‘Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party’. The song will be released on 13th January.

The singer made the announcement towards the middle of the show, which was aired live. This year marked the second edition of ‘Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party’. Dolly Parton, who is Miley’s godmother, played co-host. 

Posters that read, 'New Year New Miley' were plastered across various cities. The NYE tease was first accompanied online by a 17-second clip of the music video. The singer is seen in a metallic gold outfit and shades walking uphill. A second teaser clip was shown later on in the special, featuring Miley in a bathing suit strutting through sprinklers. 

Alongside NYE, the star also celebrated her upcoming 'new Miley' era. David Byrne, Latto, Sia, Rae Sremmurd, Fletcher were among the featured guests. Miley and co-host Dolly brought in the new year with a medley of the super-hit songs, ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘I Will Always Love You’.

A countdown teasing upcoming projects has been launched on Miley’s site.
