Miley Cyrus’ ‘Flowers’ is The Most Streamed Song in a Week on Spotify For The Second Time in a Row

Miley Cyrus has added another notch to her belt by breaking a record! Spotify tweeted her victory saying, “It’s official…The record has been broken by Miley Cyrus herself on January 26, making ‘Flowers’ the most streamed song in a single week in Spotify history.” While she topped the streaming charts last week for the first time, Cyrus managed to outdo herself for a second consecutive week. Simultaneously, she also debuted in the previous frame at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

After the success of ‘Flowers’, many of Cyrus’ songs produced earlier are also marking gains. This includes her entire discography from ‘Wrecking Ball’ to ‘Midnight Sky’. Not only this, but ‘Flowers’ also fed streaming numbers to ‘If I Was Your Man’ by Bruno Mars, which the song plays on.

After the song received this achievement, Miley Cyrus put out a tweet of gratitude writing, “Thankful that Flowers is Number 1 around the world. This song is dedicated to my fans & the steadfast self love I wish for each of you. Forever grateful, Miley.”
