Miley Cyrus Reveals Her ‘New Year’s Eve Party’ Line-Up on ‘The Tonight Show’

The legendary singer-songwriter Dolly Parton and her goddaughter Miley Cyrus are set to pair up for Miley’s infamous ‘New Year’s Eve Party’ this year. In the recent episode of The Tonight Show, Cyrus shared the name of three of the guests for her party with Jimmy Fallon. She stated that among many others who are left unnamed for now, Sia, Latto and Rae Sremmurd will grace the festivities with their presence.  

Miley Cyrus, who earlier announced that she will be hosting the event with Dolly Parton, has now revealed the names of these guests claiming that it makes sense because of her relationship with all these personalities. “Sia is coming. She is one of my favourite artists,” claimed Miley on The Tonight Show. 

Cyrus stated that Sia will be accompanied by two of her close friends, Latto and Rae Sremmurd for the event. Miley is already set to host her New Year’s Eve Party with Parton, and it will air on NBC on 31st December, live from Miami. NBC also previously shared a promotional video with Cyrus and Parton on the network’s Instagram page, where Cyrus states, “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party is about getting glamorous and dressing your best.” 

The sophomore outing of Miley’s party marks the second straight year that Cyrus is hosting the year-end festivities for NBC, after hosting it with Pete Davidson last year. The first iteration of the party threw the ratings for NBC off the charts, by offering viewership in both 18-49 and 18-34 demographics since 2014. 

“As we get closer to the show, I want to start revealing who else we have. But the lineup is very me. It is curated in a way that makes no sense, but makes total sense,” Cyrus stated on The Tonight Show. Fans can expect more such announcements in the coming weeks as the pop star claimed that there are still more performers in the line-up, and that she is excited to reveal their names.
