Miley Cyrus has rung in the new year with a bit of reminiscing! She dropped a 10-minute video on Instagram titled the ‘Miley Cyrus Decade Video: 10 Years in 10 Minutes’, where she highlighted her most prominent moments through the decade… including her relationship with ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.
2019 has been quite a busy year for the singer! Not only did her hit single, ‘Mother’s Daughter’ dominate charts across the world, she also starred in the award-winning anthology series, ‘Black Mirror’ proving that her affinity for acting is growing by the year! Last year has also been difficult for the singer, particularly due to her break-up, with Liam Hemsworth. Despite their constant on and off relationship over the years, they’ve always been that one much loved celebrity couple.
Liam shows up multiple times in the video, and is first seen for just a few seconds in a clip from the 2010 film, ‘The Last Song’. While Hemsworth is featured on several occasions in the video, Miley’s more recent romantic interests aren’t. Neither Kaitlynn Carter, nor her current boyfriend, Cody Simpson, show up.
It looks like video’s been pulling on the heart-strings of not just Cyrus, but her huge fan base too. From including one of their wedding snaps to sharing a news report of their initial engagement, Cyrus has proved that Hemsworth was an important part of the decade for her.
While sources say that Miley and Liam’s divorce was finalized on Christmas Eve, the split was thankfully not too complicated. “The divorce was marked by significant bitterness on both sides, but that seems to have subsided as they decided it’s better to move on than fight,” sources confirmed.
Well, Miley’s clearly had her fair share of ups and downs last year, but hopefully 2020 will treat her better!
