Miley Cyrus Will Not be Going on a Tour Anytime Soon

Miley Cyrus is not going to hit the road for her latest album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’. In an interview, she revealed that she doesn’t see herself on a tour anytime soon. The last show she ever did was in 2014.
“It’s been a minute,” Cyrus said. “After the last show I did, I kind of looked at it as more of a question. And I can’t. Not only ‘can’t’, because can’t is your capability, but my desire. Do I want to live my life for anyone else’s pleasure or fulfilment other than my own?”

Her last global tour was for ‘Bangerz’, her 2013 album which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. She toured through North America, Europe, Latin America, New Zealand and Australia. Ever since then, she has only done a few shows in prominent music festivals like Glastonbury, Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza. The singer revealed that she prefers singing for close friends and loved ones instead of large-scale arenas.
“Like singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really the thing that I love,” Cyrus noted. “There’s no connection. There’s no safety.” She continued, “It’s also not natural. It’s so isolating because if you’re in front of 100,000 people then you are alone.”

Cyrus recently dropped the music video for ‘Jaded’, which is her third single from her eighth studio album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. The lead single ‘Flowers’ spent eight weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became the quickest song ever to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify.
