Millie Bobby Brown Celebrates as Liverpool Win Title at Anfield

Over the weekend, Millie Bobby Brown visited Anfield to watch her favourite club, Liverpool, secure a victory in the Premier League. She was present at the stadium during Liverpool’s recent 5-1 defeat of Tottenham Hotspur. With this win, Liverpool has matched Manchester United’s record of 20 top-flight titles, marking their second Premier League triumph in five years.

On its official X and Instagram accounts, the team posted pictures of Brown at the game, one of which showed her waving a Liverpool home shirt.  She was also spotted with Adolescent star Owen Cooper.

Throughout her childhood, Brown has been a dedicated Liverpool supporter, just like her father and brother. She has discussed staying up late to watch the team’s games while residing in the US in previous interviews.

Brown has recently spoken out against media criticism outside of football.  She responded to criticism of her appearance in March by saying she wouldn’t apologise for maturing.  On the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, she went into additional detail about the toll it takes and criticised the tabloids for their harsh treatment.  Matt Lucas publicly apologised for comparing her to a character from Little Britain.

In terms of performing, Brown most recently acted in the Russo brothers’ science fiction adventure film, ‘The Electric State’, which was released on OTT.  A video game that served as a precursor to the movie was also released.  Despite receiving varied reviews, Brown’s performances and commanding presence on screen continue to garner attention.

According to co-creator Ross Duffer, she will also reprise her role as Eleven in the show’s final season, which is expected to be both action-packed and poignant.
