Millie Bobby Brown Opens Up About Marrying Jake Bongiovi at a Young Age

Despite their young age, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi felt that their marriage was a well-considered and natural choice.

 When Brown initially realized she could actually see a future with Bongiovi, host Alex Cooper questioned her about it during a recent episode of ‘Call Her Daddy’.  The 21-year-old ‘Stranger Things’ star talked about how moving in with him was a turning point in their relationship after four years together.

 Brown realized that she would never want to be with anyone else as they established their life together, taking care of their pets and splitting daily duties.  She remembered thinking that she was so sure of him that she didn't want to date or meet anybody else.

The in-depth discussions they had about politics, life, and family life were what really validated her sentiments.  Even though she wasn't sure if he shared her principles at first, these conversations helped her realize that they did.  Everything made sense when he proposed, and she realized they were destined to be together.

 Brown also acknowledged that their upbringing in a loving family had influenced their views on commitment and love.  Both Brown's parents met at the age of 19, as did Bongiovi's parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi, who were high school sweethearts who were married early.  The thought of a young marriage felt normal and comforting because she was raised with such examples of long-lasting couples.

Brown said she was certain in their choice in a February 2025 interview with Vanity Fair, characterizing their bond as solid and cohesive.  From their political opinions to the type of house they wished to construct, they had talked about significant facets of their future.  She had always believed that marrying Bongiovi was the proper decision, therefore it was obvious to her.  He was the first man she had ever really loved, she further disclosed.

 They feel that Brown and Bongiovi's love story was destined to be because of their solid foundation and common future goals.
