Rap icon and the definition of female swag Missy Elliot has dropped her new music video “DripDemeanor”, her single off the ‘ICONOLOGY’ EP that she released earlier this year. The video is directed by Derek Blanks and Elliot is seen sporting a building made of hair!

Missy Elliot who won the Video Vanguard VMA this year, delivered an impressive career-spanning performance that ran through her most iconic music videos. In the decade plus since her last album, Missy Elliot was seen going on-off about her upcoming releases. Albums were teased, then sealed as coming soon, renamed and later scrapped. Singles have been released and choreographed but then left at sea, never followed-up on.

The pop music icon with her new release “DripDemeanor” confirms what’s long been implied by these recurring starts and stops; that she is no more a part of music history but very much of the present!
