Miyeon Of (G)I-DLE Reveals Teasers And The Tracklist For Her Solo Mini-Album ‘MY’

(G)I-DLE main vocalist Miyeon has shared the first look into her forthcoming debut solo mini-album ‘MY’.

The K-pop sensation presented a set of stunning concept images for her upcoming solo album on 18th April. In the new photographs, the singer wears a long pink gown, drinks and eats pink and red-colored drinks and pastries. ‘MY’ will be released on 27th April at 6 p.m. KST.

The idol has also released the official tracklist for ‘MY,’ which will feature six songs and be headlined by the single ‘Drive.’ Yuqi, a member of (G)I-DLE, contributed to the composition of the mini-concluding album’s track, ‘소나기’, while Miyeon composed the lyrics.

Miyeon’s first official solo release since joining (G)I-DLE in 2018 will be titled ‘MY.’ However, the song has been on the soundtracks of K-dramas such as Tale Of The Nine-Tailed and Moonshine over the years. In May 2021, she also performed the song ‘You Were My Breath’ for CS Happy Entertainment’s joint album. She is also the group’s third solo artist, following bandmates Soyeon with the single “Jelly” in 2017 and Yuqi with her single album “A Page” in May 2021. Soyeon made her solo comeback in July of last year with the release of her first mini-album, ‘Windy.’

The singer’s solo project comes barely a month after (G)I-debut DLE’s studio album ‘I Never Die’ and title tune ‘Tomboy’ was released. Tanu I. Raj of NME hailed the album as a “revelatory experience” and gave it four stars in a review.
