Monsta X Are Ready To Begin A New Era

Comeback season has been in full swing in the Kpop world. BTS shattered records with their all-English single, ‘Dynamite’, BLACKPINK put out their buzzing collaboration with Selena Gomez, Taemin dropped his scorching album, ‘Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1’. And now, joining this long string of stars is Monsta X. 

The band’s agency, Starship Entertainment, broke the news through a brief statement.  “MONSTA X is preparing for a fall comeback. The specific timing of the comeback has yet to be decided,” they explained. 

Further, one of the vocalists from the band, Minhyuk, also spilled a few details through the group’s official fan cafe. He said, “We’re in the beginning stages of album preparation. Personally, it’s the album I’m looking forward to the most after ‘DRAMARAMA.’”

Now, it’s been quite a busy year for Monsta X. On Valentine’s Day, they dropped their debut all-English album titled, ‘All About Luv’. It featured a string of heartfelt tunes like ‘Who Do U Love,’ ‘Someone’s Someone,’ ‘You Can’t Hold My Heart’ and many more. A lot of the tracks sitting on the album went on to soar through charts world over. In fact, ‘All About Luv’ even debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. 

Following this, the band dropped their first Korean comeback of the year in May. It was an EP titled, ‘Fantasia X’. Filled to the brim with a cocktail of EDM beats and fiery raps, all seven tracks took a huge step away from the gentle, gooey tunes initially seen on ‘All About Luv’.

So, there’s no saying what path the band is set to follow with their new comeback. But that’s ultimately what makes the wait even more exciting.
