Monsta X is Gearing Up to Drop Their Next Mini Album

We’re just a few months into 2020 and Monsta X is already treating us with their second album! This one’s titled, ‘Fantasia X’ and is set to drop on May 11th.

Fantasia X‘ will be the group’s eighth mini-album, following October’s Follow: Find You and February’s All About Luv – which marked their first All-English project.

Last year, their track, ‘Who Do You Love’ took the world by storm and ended up skyrocketing the boys to the global frontier. The tune went on to claim the No.1 spot on charts across the world and now, it appears that history is repeating itself.

Their track, ‘You Can’t Hold My Heart’, which recently got its own music video, is doing quite well for itself.

Not only is it making its way up the charts, but the boys also got to perform this number on the Kelly Clarkson Show, making them the first Kpop act to do so.

And now, perhaps their new mini-album will uncover yet another gem.

Now coming back to ‘Fantasia X’, Monsta X took to social media to drop the tracklist. They put up a picture which features a golden frame, which the tracklist inked in black.

From the titles itself, it’s easy to make out that there’s some sort of running theme: “Fantasia”, “Chaotic”, “It Ain’t Over”, “Zone”…see?

We can’t put our finger on the main concept driving this album, so it might be a good idea to leave the mic open and let Monsta X dish out all those details!

What we know so far is that the band’s resident rappers, Jooheon and I.M had a hand in writing the lyrics for all seven tracks, including the title track “Fantasia.” They’ve also been quite involved in both the composition and production process.

And that’s all for now folks! Until we hear more news about their upcoming album, it looks like we’ll just have to sit tight.
