Music Video Of ‘Smile’: Juice WRLD & The Weeknd Is Here

The late rapper Juice WRLD and The Weeknd surprised their fans by releasing the track, ‘Smile’ on August 7, 2020. In the song the ‘Lucid Dream’ singer talks about wanting his partner smile even if he’s not present and the ‘In Your Eyes’ singer discusses his struggle with substance abuse in a relationship.

Fans went gaga over the track’s trap-beats and lyrics and now, they can add another reason to love it more. The animated music video of the song is out and it’s nothing like you’ve seen before. The animation on the video is done by KDC Visions, the visuals accurately capture the essence of the song.

‘Smile’: The Animated Music Video

In the opening of the video, we see an animated Juice WRLD, singing in a field of flowers among butterflies and shooting stars. Then, the video moves to a bedroom with an animated version of Ally Lotti, his girlfriend who is looking at their Polaroid pictures. As she does that, the image of him in the field, appears on a painting and a snow globe.

Soon, we are joined by the animated version of The Weeknd, falling out of his car and moving towards another car which happens to be Juice WRLD’s. With a shift in scene, towards the end, we see Juice WRLD with wings on his way to leave the earth while Ally is looking at him through the windows of their bedroom.

The video is bound to give you some closure if you’re a fan of Juice WRLD because you can see him, bid a heartfelt goodbye. The video is surreal and you will need a hug after watching it because those goosebumps are on their way.
