Netflix to Debut Beyoncé’s Christmas Halftime Show as a Standalone Special This Week
If you missed Beyoncé’s NFL 2024 Christmas game Halftime Show, there’s good news: it’s set to be released as a standalone special on Netflix. On Christmas Day, Beyoncé took center stage at the NFL Christmas game in her hometown of Houston, Texas, delivering her first live performance of songs from her 2024 album, Cowboy Carter.
The show was originally live-streamed on Netflix, with replays available for a limited time—just a few hours in the U.S. and up to 24 hours internationally. For fans who couldn’t catch the broadcast before it was taken down, Netflix has now announced that the Halftime Show, rebranded as Beyoncé Bowl, will soon be available to stream as a standalone special.
According to a press release, Beyoncé Bowl will premiere on Netflix in full later this week. While an exact release date and time hasn’t been provided, the special already has a page on Netflix where fans can set reminders for its release.
The press release indicates that the special will focus solely on Beyoncé’s performance, without any behind-the-scenes footage of the show’s production.
During the event, she exclusively performed tracks from her album Cowboy Carter, marking the first live rendition of songs from the record since its release.
During her 13-minute set, Queen Bey was joined by artists such as Shaboozey, Post Malone, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, and Tiera Kennedy. Her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, also took the stage, dancing to Texas Hold ‘Em. Beyoncé opened the Halftime performance—hailed by fans as “the best Super Bowl performance of all time, and it wasn’t even the Super Bowl”—with 16 Carriages.

Her setlist included songs like Blackbird, YA YA, My House, Jolene, and more. She teamed up with Post Malone for Levii’s Jeans and Shaboozey for Sweet Honey Buckiin.
After the show, Beyoncé sparked excitement on social media by hinting at an announcement for January 14, 2025. Fans are speculating it could be a tour for Cowboy Carter, while others believe it might reveal Act III of the Renaissance trilogy.
In other Beyoncé news, she recently became the most-nominated artist in Grammy history. In November, she surpassed her previous tie with Jay-Z, who also had 88 nominations, after earning 11 new nominations for Cowboy Carter at next year’s Grammys. She now holds an unprecedented 99 nominations and continues to reign as the artist with the most Grammy wins, with 32 trophies to date.
