New Horror Trailer from ‘Talk to Me’ Directors Terrifies Fans

The first teaser for Talk to Me’s new horror movie, ‘Bring Her Back’, has gone viral on the internet.

 The A24 horror film, which was directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, features Sally Hawkins and Billy Barratt, a young actor who won an Emmy.  The movie centres on a brother and sister who discover a terrifying ritual at their new foster mother’s remote house.

 A young girl is being recorded while the words “Let Her Die” play in the frightening teaser, which is punctuated by scenes of ritualistic activities and Hawkins yelling.

 This is the first movie the Philippou brothers have made since ‘Talk to Me’, the 2023 independent horror phenomenon that became a box-office success.  The movie was hailed as a contemporary thriller reminiscent of the early works of Jordan Peele and Ari Aster.

The UK release date for ‘Bring Her Back’ has not yet been revealed, however, the U.S. release date is slated for 30th May.

 The teaser has already generated a lot of discussion among fans on social media.  One viewer appreciated how little the trailer shows and pointed out that it had an uncanny vibe akin to ‘Talk to Me’.  One person described the trailer as “pretty much perfect,” while others just responded with surprise and enthusiasm.

 Some horror enthusiasts even described the clip as an unexpected pleasure, saying it caught them off guard when watching ‘The Monkey’.

‘The Moment’, a movie starring and produced by music sensation Charli XCX, was just shown by A24.
