NFL Kicked Off With Alicia Keys Who Made A Mark

On September 10, 2020, one of the world’s biggest sports leagues, the NFL, began its new season. And, guess who was part of it all? Alicia Keys, the singer made her presence felt, in the most glamourous way.

The broadcast kicked off with a stunning video from Alicia Keys. The singer performed a stunning rendition of ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing.’ Accompanied by some moving visuals, Anthony Mackie narrated a well-scripted piece about the struggles of black people.

Luckily for fans, this wasn’t all that we had from the ‘Girl On Fire’ singer. Alicia Keys followed this up with a stellar performance of her track ‘Love Looks Better.’ The performance gave fans a clear reminder that no matter what, Alicia Keys will remain to be one of the greatest vocalists of our time.

The Event Gets Better and Bigger

And that wasn’t all of the highlights from the event. Everyone who was part of the event took it upon themselves to make their social justice message loud and clear. From having the end zones stencilled with the phrases “End Racism” and “It Takes All of Us,” to the special decals on players’ helmets, the event had it all.

NFL is working with Roc Nation on community initiatives and financial promises. ROC Nation is a music talent agency ad entertainment company that was founded by Jay-Z in 2008. Some of the big names that the company has on its roster are Rihanna, J Cole, Shakira, and even Alicia Keys.
