Niall Wants A One Direction Reunion

Niall Horan has kept us on our toes with the release of new music, like, ‘No Judgement’ which dropped earlier in the month and of course, more recently, the announcement of his album title and cover art! But don’t be mistaken, we’re enjoying every minute of this!

In fact, Niall’s been busy with a string of interviews to promote his upcoming album and now, we’re practically drowning in even more news! So, for starters, Horan admitted that Lewis Capaldi and him have teamed up for a song. Now would be the appropriate time to freak out!

“We’ve got one [song] that we think is okay. We’re going to have a look at it again soon, I think,” He went on to say that while they were going to re-write the lyrics, they just ended up going drinking instead. But, the duo are fully prepared to drop the track soon, the only question is…when? Horan didn’t reveal a release date, but there have been speculations that it might be premiered while he’s on tour with Capaldi!

Speaking of long-awaited collabs, Shawn Mendes is next in line. The ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ hitmaker confessed that it was “about time” to record his rumoured collaboration with Mendes, and if we keep our fingers crossed and possibly nudge the singer every now and then on Twitter, we might just stumble upon a brand new single by the duo!

Niall’s also created a buzz amongst all the One Direction fans after he confirmed his intentions to reunite with the boys once more! “We’d be absolutely ridiculous not to reform the band. We haven’t really spoken about the ‘when’s’ but we do know we will. We have all said individually that we will and I think it would be stupid if we didn’t. I’ve got to witness things that some artists never will in terms of pandemonium and madness. I’ve had number 1 albums, hit singles. We had a great time and we’ll have an even better time when we do it again,” he explained. This further fuels all the rumours around the band’s reunion and if we’re lucky, we’ll see them take the stage together by the end of this year!

But for now, we can’t wait to see what ‘Heartbreak Weather’s’ got in store for us! This one’s slated for release in early March and who knows, perhaps the collab with Shawn Mendes is simply lying in wait on the tracklist!
