Nilüfer Yanya Shares Meditative New Track ‘Anotherlife’

Nilüfer Yanya has released the first taste of her upcoming second album, which includes a lavish video for the new single ‘anotherlife.’ Molly Daniel, the London musician’s sister and frequent collaborator, directed the visuals which were shot while on a vacation in Sri Lanka.

Yanya said of ‘anotherlife’: “At the core of the song it’s just about being OK with things and accepting that this is where you are at. However, the ‘I’ll do anything’ line hints at a desperation of wanting to let that be known.”

‘Anotherlife’ is the third single from Yanya’s upcoming second album, ‘Painless,’ which will be released on March 4 via ATO and follows her debut ‘Miss Universe,’ which was released in 2019. It comes after the release of ‘Midnight Sun’ last month and the lead single ‘Stabilise’ in November 2021.

This spring, the singer will tour the UK, Europe, and the United States in promotion of ‘Painless.’ Her British and European tour dates are listed below. The complete schedule can be found here.
