Kim Kardashian posted a photo of her oldest daughter's ensemble from the Christmas Eve gathering on her Instagram Stories. She captioned her story with, "You know North went through the archives to pick her dad's Balmain Met jacket. Ifykyk [sic]." Despite Ye's track record of making controversial comments and questionable public statements, Kim has shielded her children from the negativity.

Regarding her decision to involve Ye, the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star recognized that she "had the best dad," referring to the late Robert Kardashian Sr. She further expressed, "I have the best memories and the greatest experience with my dad. And that's all I want for my kids. As long as they can have that, that's what I would want for them."
