Olivia Rodrigo Performs a Duet With Alanis Morissette On ‘You Oughta Know’
Olivia Rodrigo performed a cover of Alanis Morissette’s 1995 hit “You Oughta Know” at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, with Morissette joining her on stage.
The show took place on 24th May, the first of two evenings Rodrigo was scheduled to perform at the venue as part of her ‘Sour’ tour. Following Veruca Salt’s ‘Seether,’ Avril Lavigne’s ‘Complicated,’ and No Doubt’s ‘Just A Girl,’ it was the fourth cover added to the tour setlist. Rodrigo is also doing a cover with the original artist for the second time, with Lavigne joining her on stage in Toronto.
In October 2021, the Rodrigo and Morissette were put together for a Rolling Stone audio story in which they discussed songwriting and their early experiences as kid stars. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Morissette confirmed her bond with Rodrigo, saying she plans to create a ‘tour survival kit’ for the young performer.
