Olivia Rodrigo Releases an Eerie ‘Vampire’ Music Video Teaser

Olivia Rodrigo has shared the teaser for the music video for her upcoming single 'Vampire,' signalling that she is getting ready for a pretty good comeback.

She is seen in the brief video posted to Instagram, lying in a dimly lit, misty grass field beneath the full moon as a piano melody plays in the distance. The track and the Petra Collins-directed music video will both be released on 30th June at exactly midnight ET.

Olivia and Collins collaborated on a number of her prior music videos, including 'Good 4 U' and 'Brutal.'

The highly anticipated sophomore album 'GUTS' by Rodrigo, which will be released on 8th September, has the lead track 'Vampire.' The single, which follows the Grammy winner's ground-breaking debut album 'SOUR,' will be her first to be released since 2021.

According to Rodrigo's statement in a press release, 'GUTS' is going to explore "growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life."

“I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20 — it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change,” she stated. “I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”
