Olivia Rodrigo Reveals Lyrics From Upcoming Song ‘Vampire’ 

Olivia Rodrigo, the Grammy winner, shared lyrics from her next single, ‘Vampire,’ on Instagram just as fans were getting ready to prepare themselves for the song.

The words ‘How do you lie?’ are scrawled in three lines over a white page in the post. Rodrigo used a straightforward and appropriate vampire emoji as the post’s caption. 

Rodrigo’s ‘Vampire’ is her first release since her multi-platinum debut ‘Sour’ in 2021. Last week, she announced the song’s release and posted the single’s black-and-white cover art, which features the celebrity wearing dark lipstick, winged eyeliner and two Band-Aids on her neck to mask a vampire-fang puncture wound.

Rodrigo will release ‘Vampire’ as a follow-up to her record-breaking first album ‘Sour’, which included the No. 1 hits ‘Drivers Licence’ and ‘Good 4 U’ on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was on the Billboard 200 top 10 for more than 52 weeks starting in June of last year, making it the longest-running debut album of the century.

Rodrigo has won numerous awards since the release of her debut album, including three Grammys for best new artist, best pop solo performance for ‘Drivers Licence’ and best pop vocal album for ‘Sour’.
