Ozzy Osbourne Is A Warrior From the Dark Side

The lead vocalist of the heavy metal band, Black Sabbath, or as we all know him as “The Prince of Darkness”, Ozzy Osbourne, has cancelled his 2020 North American tour.

It was only last month when his fans received the heart breaking news about his deteriorating health when the 71 year old singer-songwriter announced that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system which causes tremors.

In a recent publication, he explained, “I’ve been working with it for most of my life. I’ve cheated death so many times. If tomorrow you read ‘Ozzy Osbourne never woke up this morning,’ you wouldn’t go, ‘Oh, my God!’ You’d go, ‘Well, it finally caught up with him.”

The tour has been repeatedly postponed since April 2018 after the album’s release and many fans have had to deal with the loss from tickets being rescheduled.

Though it’s such a tragedy to see him step down from the stage, considering how long he’s been performing for, perhaps right now, he just needs all the rest he can get. And knowing him, he might just spring back in another few months!

“I don’t want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it’s just not fair to the fans,” he explained. “I’d rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time.”

He’s currently headed to Europe for additional treatment and hopefully, it won’t be too long until he’s back on his feet!
