Pamela Anderson Applauds Beyoncé’s Viral Halloween Costume Inspired by ‘Barb Wire’
Pamela Anderson has expressed her admiration for Beyoncé after the singer paid tribute to Anderson’s iconic character from Baywatch in a recent video.
On November 5, Beyoncé released a new video for her song ‘Bodyguard,’ in which she encouraged her fans to vote in the upcoming US presidential elections. The official visuals for the track, titled ‘Cowboy Carter,’ featured a nod to Anderson’s C.J. Parker character from Baywatch.
The video, called ‘Beywatch,’ includes a scene where Beyoncé fires a flag gun that reads “VOTE!” It concludes with Beyoncé wishing her viewers a “happy Beylloween” and reminding them once again to “vote.” In the vintage-inspired visuals, Beyoncé sports a blonde wig similar to Anderson’s and wears the classic red swimsuit from the show. She also posted a still from the video on Instagram, prompting Anderson to comment with “LOVE” and a heart emoji.
On her own Instagram Story, Anderson shared an image of Beyoncé as well, adding a heart emoji and writing, “Don’t call me bey…” followed by a kiss emoji.
Last month, the singer showed her support for Democratic nominee and current Vice President Kamala Harris at a rally advocating for reproductive and abortion rights. The event took place in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, Texas.
She was joined at the rally by her mother, Tina Knowles, and her former Destiny’s Child bandmate, Kelly Rowland.
She said that we should imagine our daughters growing up without ceilings or limitations, envisioning what’s possible for them. She emphasized imagining what our grandmothers feel right now, those who have lived to see this historic day. She also acknowledged the sacrifices made by those who are no longer physically with us, recognizing their contributions so that we can witness a woman standing in her power, reimagining leadership.

She continued by urging that we must vote, stressing the importance of participation. She said that our voices have power and magnitude, and that our votes are some of the most valuable tools. She added that our freedom is a god-given and human right.
Beyoncé had previously given her personal approval for Kamala Harris to use ‘Freedom’ from her 2016 album Lemonade as the official anthem for Harris’ presidential campaign.
