Pamela Anderson Shares Why She Embraced a Makeup-Free Look

Pamela Anderson is welcoming a fresh, organic phase of her life. The 57-year-old actress and model recently discussed her decision to forgo makeup in an interview with The Sunday Times, stating that it has allowed her to feel more like herself. At Paris Fashion Week in September 2023, Anderson, who is also promoting her vegan cookbook ‘I Love You’, made her makeup-free debut while wearing Vivienne Westwood. She clarified that cosmetics didn’t seem essential with her eye-catching ensemble and that she didn’t expect the intense reaction it would receive from admirers who valued her unvarnished appearance.

Anderson talked on how her early career image—especially from her time in ‘Baywatch’ and her well-known relationship with Tommy Lee—formed a persona she had to uphold during the interview. She explained that she developed the identity as a way to deal with the setbacks in her life. Presenting her own self as a mother who loves cooking, gardening, and a tranquil life makes her happy now.

But now that she’s committed to being honest, she thinks they’re more comfortable with her changing public persona, which she hopes makes them feel proud and comforted.
