Paris Hilton Joins Kids in Singing ‘Sanasa’ Catchphrase
Paris Hilton posted a sweet video to Instagram recently, showing her kneeling on the ground with her two kids, London, 13, and Phoenix, 22 months. The phrase “sanasa,” which Hilton and her closest friend Nicole Richie frequently used on ‘The Simple Life’, is gleefully sung by Hilton and Phoenix while holding a toy microphone. Hilton chuckles as Phoenix and London playfully knock on a little bongo drum.
Hilton expressed her happiness by writing, “Baby P’s new favourite song!” as the caption for the photo. In 2023, Hilton and her spouse, Carter Reum, welcomed their surrogate children.
Since then, Hilton has shared numerous instances of gratitude for her family, including a Thanksgiving post in which she expressed her immense love for her family and kids, who make her life so much more joyful every single day.

Hilton and Richie wrote the ‘sanasa’ song when they were just seven years old, and it has since grown to be a joyous moment for Hilton and her children. When Richie appeared on Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast a few days ago, she told the anecdote and amusingly recounted how her father, Lionel Richie, was “jealous” when he first heard the song.
In the future, Hilton will revisit her ‘Simple Life’ roots in ‘Paris & Nicole: The Encore’, a new three-part spinoff series. The program will chronicle Hilton and Richie’s increasingly bizarre exploits, such as a “sanasa opera.” Peacock offers the series for streaming.
