Taylor Swift’s baking skills are a hit in the Mahomes household!
In a recent episode of ‘The Drive with Carrington Harrison’, which aired on Tuesday, Cansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 29, shared that his daughter, Sterling, has a fondness for the pop star, 34, that goes beyond her music.
When the radio host asked, “Has Taylor ever baked something for you? And what did she make you?” Patrick responded, “Taylor has never baked anything specifically for me. But she has made different treats that have been around my house—muffins and doughnuts and stuff like that.”
He added, “Sterling loves baking as well, so they make some goodies together sometimes. I can’t say I don’t eat them.” Along with daughter Sterling, 3, Patrick and his wife Brittany also have a son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, who is 22 months old. The couple announced in an Instagram Reel on July 12 that they are expecting their third child, captioning the post, “Round three, here we come 🤍.”

Swift, who has been dating Patrick’s teammate Travis Kelce since last October, was spotted cradling Brittany’s baby bump in an Instagram post from October 9. The photo was taken during a recent Kansas City Chiefs game as the two women cheered for their partners from a suite.
“It’s as good as everyone says. She’s great when it comes to baking,” Patrick remarked in the interview. Swift is known for her baking talents, and in February, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shared that she gifted some homemade pop tarts to several players.
“Behind the scenes, she fit right in—she didn’t even realize it, I don’t think,” Reid explained. “She made the offensive linemen these homemade pop tarts. So it was a hit; she knew exactly what to do.”

Reid humorously noted that unfortunately for him, he didn’t get any of the treats: “She didn’t give me one, and the offensive linemen definitely didn’t give me one.”
Swift and Kelce, 35, are enjoying their second football season together, with their latest public appearance on October 14, where they were seen cozying up at Yankee Stadium during the first game of the MLB American League Championship between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians. Video footage shared by MLB’s official account showed the couple high-fiving and holding hands.
