Paul McCartney made a surprise appearance at the Hollywood Improv during Deon Cole’s comedy show, leaving the audience in awe.
The legendary musician joined Cole on stage after the comedian jokes about the two smoking mar***ana before the performance. Cole introduced McCartney, saying, “I got high with my friend tonight, and we had a good time.”

During the set, Cole humourously remarked that the crowd didn’t show him enough love that night. He asked McCartney if he had ever experienced a bad performance, to which the Beatles icon recalled early days when fans would throw pennies at them during their gigs.
Cole later shared the memorable moment on social media, posting footage of McCartney’s unexpected appearance. He captioned the clip, “My friend Paul came to watch me work on new material last night. We had a blast.”
The crowd interaction got even funnier when someone from the audience claimed they did show appreciation, prompting Cole to respond with his signature wit. McCartney then took the mic, playfully agreeing with Cole, saying, “You’re right, some of it bombed.”
