Pedro Pascal Flaunts Lean Physique After Wrapping Role as Mr. Fantastic in Marvel’s ‘Fantastic Four’ Reboot
Pedro Pascal is embracing his change into a superhero while flaunting a notably toned body.
After wrapping up filming for Marvel’s upcoming ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’, the 49-year-old star of ‘The Last of Us’ was recently seen leaving the gym looking toned and slender. Pascal plays Reed Richards, popularly known as Mr. Fantastic, in the much-awaited film. He and his crew, which includes Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm, are exposed to cosmic rays while on a space mission, and as a result, he develops elastic powers.
Pascal was seen strolling around the streets in the most recent pictures, dressed casually in basketball shorts and a black T-shirt.
First Steps was filmed in Pinewood Studios in London from late July to late November 2024, with extra scenes shot in Oviedo, Spain. In February 2024, Marvel Studios formally revealed the cast through Valentine’s Day social media posts.

The message included a picture of the group, all wearing blue, relaxing in the living room while a banner reading “Happy Valentine’s Day” hung over them. Pascal plays Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby (36), Joseph Quinn (30), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (47), who play Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ben Grimm/The Thing, respectively.
Pascal discussed filmmaking at San Diego Comic-Con with his co-stars, director Matt Shakman, and Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios. Pascal loved the cast and called them his “new family.”
Kirby shared, “I don’t think I’ve laughed so much in a rehearsal period before,” praising her chemistry with Quinn. You get a lot of joy from reading the comics, and maybe we can replicate that in the film.

Pascal’s latest portrayal of Roman warrior Marcus Acacius alongside Paul Mescal in Ridley Scott’s ‘Gladiator II’ comes after this role. Mescal plays Lucius Verus, the nephew of Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) and son of Lucilla (Connie Nielsen), who is a fan of Maximus (Russell Crowe) in the follow-up to the 2000 classic.
Pascal told Vanity Fair that he called his co-star “Brick Wall Paul” due to his strength, recalling the tough combat scenes with Mescal. He became quite powerful. Pascal jokingly said, “I’d rather be thrown from a building than have to fight him again.” He went on to say, “Aside from Ridley being a genius, Paul was a big reason I put my poor body through that experience—to go up against someone that fit, talented, and that much younger.”
On 25th July ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ will be released in theaters.
