Phoebe Dynevor Stars in International Spy Thriller 'Inheritance' 

Moviegoers are getting ready for the upcoming slate of films, which includes the much-awaited spy thriller ‘Inheritance’, as January draws near. The movie, which stars Phoebe Dynevor, who gained notoriety for her breakthrough performance in ‘Bridgerton’, is about Maya, a lady whose life drastically changes once her mother passes away. Maya resolves to follow in her father's footsteps after learning that he is a spy, but she is thrown into a perilous situation when he is apprehended.

A recently made public image from the movie depicts Maya, clearly upset, navigating an outdoor market. According to the trailer released last month, the film promises to be a classic espionage thriller, following Maya as she tries to save her father while being hunted by foes in a number of foreign locales. Rhys Ifans, who starred in ‘House of the Dragon’, also appears in the movie.

As the lead character in Season 1 of the popular OTT series ‘Bridgerton’, Daphne Bridgerton, Dynevor became well-known. Based on Julia Quinn's historical romance novels, the show's 2020 premiere follows Daphne as she navigates the responsibilities of being the Ton's "Diamond of the Season." 

Her plot centres on a fictitious courtship with the Duke of Hastings that develops into a genuine romance when they are forced to get married due to controversy. Despite her absence from the most recent season, supporters are still hopeful that Dynevor will make a comeback.

On 24th  January 2025, ‘Inheritance’ is scheduled to open in theatres.
