Pink’s Album ‘Trustfall’ Chosen as This Week’s Favourite New Music

Pink is back with a bang! Her latest album ‘Trustfall’ topped this week’s music polls conducted by Billboard. Music fans chose her ninth studio LP as their favourite new music release for the last week. The album received 48% of the total votes and beat Kelsea Ballerini’s ‘Rolling up the Welcome Mat’, Skrillex’s ‘Quest for Fire’, Niall Horan’s ‘Heaven’ and Caroline Polachek’s ‘Desire, I Want to Turn Into you’ among others.

The album is the first follow-up to her 2021 live compilation, ‘All I Know so far: Setlist’. The album was preceded by songs like ‘Never Gonna Not Dance Again’ and the track she dedicated to her late father, ‘When I Get There’. Pink has collaborated with The Lumineers, First Aid Kit and Chris Stapleton for ‘Trustfall’.

She also explained the significance of the title in an interview, stating, “It was so easy to name the record. I feel like getting out of bed, and getting dressed, and dropping your kids off at school, and being in a relationship, and parenting, and participating in elections — it requires a lot of trust. And most of the time, we feel like we’re falling backwards, and we don’t know where the ground is.”

Pink is all set to embark on her Summer Carnival 2023 stadium tour in support of this album. Stars like Brandi Carlile, Pat Benatar & Neil Girlado, Grouplove and KidCutUp will also accompany her as special guests.

The fans chose ‘Trustfall’ as their favourite album, while 24% also voted for Ballerini’s ‘Rolling up the Welcome Mat’, and 15% voted for Skrillex’s ‘Quest for Fire’.
