Post Malone in Love with Shania Twain

Post Malone’s never really hidden his love for Shania Twain and now, he’s gone a step further by confessing that he wants to do a cover of Twain’s, ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman’!

This one’s going to be yet another feather to his cap, as he’s never shied away from experimenting with genres or collaborating with a variety of artists. We first learnt of his love for the icon at the recent American Music Awards, where he was spotted singing his heart out to Twain’s greatest-hits finale number, particularly during “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.”

It’s foreshadowing, some might say, but Malone’s admiration stretches way back to his childhood, yup, he’s been a fan since he was in diapers! He vividly remembers singing along with his mother to that stunning track, on the drive to school. And in his words, he named this as an “absolute hit of a song”.

During the AMAs, Twain had actually kicked off the evening with an acoustic medley of a bunch of hits like Twenty One Pilots’ ‘Stressed Out’, Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ and none other than Post Malone’s ‘Rockstar’. Suffice it to say, he was over the moon when he heard the news, “I thought was really, really, really awesome. I was so honored that she just threw it into the compilation a little bit. One of my managers told me, ‘Hey, Shania wants to cover one of your songs tonight,’ and I was so, so ecstatic and excited,” he said.

When discussing the possibility of doing his own remake of “Man! I Feel Like a Woman,” he said, “I would love to! I don’t see why not. I think it sounds like a good time. I’d pick up the band and do a nice big cover with it. I want a whole horn section and everything, like a 30-piece band, and we’ll just rock out.”

Well, we’re fully ready to support Malone’s inner fanboy and we can’t wait to see what this cover sounds like!
