Post Malone is Circling at #1

It is the 10th week of Post Malone’s ‘Circles’ at No.1 on Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay chart. The top-selling digital song was first premiered during Bud Light Dive Bar Tour show in New York City on August 5th.

Post Malone has been the only solo male to have had this success, before him there were only 2 male artists who have matched this success, Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ and Seal’s ‘Kiss From a Rose’ for 9 weeks.

Circle has been written by Malone with Louis Bell, Frank Dukes, Billy Walsh, and Kan Gunnesberk and produced it with Bell and Dukes.

The American rapper, singer, and songwriter gained his fame through his debut single ‘White Aversion’ and since then, he has been in the two dozen Top 40 hits for over 4 years.

Previously, he claimed he wanted to escape the ‘Hip-Hop’ world entirely and his collab and performance with the rock legend, Ozzy Osbourne, proved that he was very serious about this move. We started to believe his exit from this genre but I guess his music will continue to be a hit among his fans.

“Who can’t relate to going in circles in so many aspects of life? Young, old, rich, poor, black, white … we’re all going through it.” says, says R Dub, director of a programme.

We are also eager to see if Post Malone can beat the Ace of Base’s “The Sign” which has survived the chart’s for 14 weeks in 1994.
